Marc Bonilla has played guitar and toured with Warner Bros. recording artists Toy Matinee along with producer/composer Kevin Gilbert as well as recording two critically-acclaimed guitar instrumental albums for Reprise, “EE Ticket” and “American Matador” and is about to release a third highly-anticipated album “Celluloid Debris”.
He has also produced, recorded and performed with several artists including Keith Emerson, Ronnie Montrose, Gamma, Glenn Hughes (Deep Purple), Eddie Jobson (U.K.), Edgar Winter, Ambrosia, Derek Smalls (Spinal Tap), CTA with Hall of Famer Danny Seraphine and Bill Champlin of Chicago, and most recently has been invited to be guitarist and vocalist for the supergroup Asia’s 40th anniversary tour.
In addition to live performance he has also earned an Emmy nomination for his compositional work and recently completed six seasons with Steve Porcaro on the hit series “Justified”. He has also performed with several orchestras throughout the world in China, Mongolia, London, Birmingham, Russia and Germany. The most current releases being “Three Fates Project” with the Munich Radio Orchestra and “Beyond The Stars” with the Academy of St. Martin in the Fields, conducted by Maestro Terje Mikkelsen.
